Dra. Marai Colmenares. Workshops content:

The workshops are held before the Congress between the months of April to July. They will be self-managed with 2 synchronous presentations and learning activities and evaluations in an asynchronous learning platform (Google Classroom)

Transformation of the Educational Experience (EE) and Educational Project The first workshop is divided into two parts: I. Participants will be informed of the specific characteristics of EE, clarify the modifications or adjustments that are going to be incorporated, the way in which It will work and the advantages that such changes would entail. This introduction should help to have a comprehensive vision of what is intended with EE and generate an attitude of interest and commitment towards it. II. It is aimed at helping to select the object of study that will be a course that is usually taught at the institution and Project Management will be applied to the transformation phases of the EE.

Redesign of the Educational Experience (REE).

The main objective of the REE Instructional Design Workshop is to build a learning environment to provide students with the conditions that support the desired learning processes. What determines whether formally designed instruction is adequate or not generally depends on the importance of learning achievement and its assessment.

Identification of Teaching Strategies.

The workshop incorporates the didactic tools that the teacher incorporates into the general strategy of his REE to favor the planned learning and is characterized by having a logical procedure and an action plan defined, composed of a set of activities duly ordered and sequenced, in those in which the actors in the teaching and learning process, that is, students and teachers, play very defined roles. This workshop includes the accompaniment of the student and his evaluation.

Educational Resources and Technological Tools.

This workshop will include the development of skills to search for sources of information and educational resources relevant to education in different learning environments and the practical use of various technological tools to achieve meaningful learning.

The aspects of the training during the congress are related to the creation of virtual learning units, namely: small virtual and mixed educational entities, virtual learning communities, programs and / or courses based on virtual learning environments focused on enabling skills. for human development.

As part of the EduAction Miami 2022 Congress “Virtual Environments and Human Development”, the VIII Doctoral Colloquium, which will have a specific “Call for Papers” and will be dedicated to the selection and presentation of papers in Spanish, English or Portuguese, made by researchers or academics. The papers accepted by the Scientific Committee of the Program will also be published in a differentiated book with ISBN and DOI.

The participants will be individuals or teams from educational institutions, public or private organizations, corporations or companies, unions and cooperatives interested in issues related to quality training of professionals in virtual or mixed environments.

The lectures address issues related to the fundamental aspects for the creation of virtual environments and human development, while the workshops will train team members and individuals on critical issues for shaping a virtual learning environment such as: the theoretical foundations of virtual learning, leadership and virtual educational management, the design of instruction in virtual environments, pedagogical strategies and related technological aspects.

The teams of the participating educational entities may register before the Congress or may be created from individual professionals who attend the Congress, taking into account the profile of each one of them.

Participation in the thematic workshops will be in pre-congress sessions, keynotes, lectures and expositions during the congress. On the last day of the congress, each team will have a short time before the Plenary to present their proposals for virtual or mixed learning environments, be these educational units, communities, programs or courses.

From then on, the projects will be monitored through the EduAction Virtual Environments Network that will be launched among the participating countries and organizations immediately after the Congress, which will be guided by prominent consultants on the subject.
